Gear up for World Music Day this weekend

BENGALURU: With World Music Day coming up this Saturday, musicians across the city are flocking to register for it. The event will begin on June 20 and go up to June 21.

The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation, in association with Bangalore Mirror will  at eight Metro stations around the city. This includes, Byappanahalli, Swami Vivekananda Road, Indiranagar, Rangoli Metro Art Centre, Peenya, Sandal Soap Factory and Rajajinagar.

Some music organisers like Freedom Jam, The Royal Echo, Busking Bandits and Drum Jam have already registered. This means that you can register under these organisers to perform at the venues.

The two-day event will also be held in a few other venues like Big Pitcher, Bangalore School of Music, Goobe’s, Blistering Barnacles, The Humming Tree and Alliance Francaise de Bangalore.
