CAMPUS: The Post Graduate quadrangle witnessed the campaign on World Population Day by the students of I MSW on Wednesday. The students held placards that read slogans to educate others regarding the world population, ‘Population explosion leads to starvation’, ‘Who is going to save the world and birth control?’, ‘It’s not about creating but about sustaining’ among others.

Tasha, I MSW said, “Since the future generations come from colleges, we felt that there is a need to have the display of placards in college. We need more awareness than the older generation in order to make the difference.”

Allister, I MSW, expressed, “India is a growing country and comprises of youth that can take the country forward. It is high time that we take a stand and if we create awareness concerning this issue, we will grow up to become responsible parents.”
