South Western Railways has extended its Bangalore- Devanahalli train service till Chikkaballapur. The new service started on Tuesday and is hoping to see good response from the commuters of the area.
Speaking to The Beacon, Dr Anupdayanan Sadhu, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, South Western Railways said, “This service is scheduled for the next two months. It is provided as we observed an increasing demand in the past few months. We are planning to make this a regular service and hope that it will be of great help to the commuters.”
The train service departs at 10:30 am from Bangalore and reaches Chikkaballapur at 12:15 pm. It then departs at 12:40 pm and reaches Bangalore at 2:25 pm.
