BENGALURU: Freedom ride, an event organised by The Bangalore RD 350 Club (R) and Team Topenders, on the eve of Independence Day.
Around 2000 bikers took part in the freedom ride from Esteem mall, Hebbal and to Nandi Hills, which took place between 5:00am to 1:00pm and about 49 bikers clubs became a part of this 54km ride.
The event is likely to take a position in LIMCA book of records for gathering highest number of bikers in a single venue, breaking the existing record of 1190 bikes created by Delhi Bikers, says Vishal Agarwal, founder of Bangalore RD 350 Club (R) who is very proud to have organised such an event.
“After Delhi, it would be Bangalore to have a position in the LIMCA book of records for the highest number of bikes participating in a social event which is 1987”, says Rajesh M, one of the riders of the freedom ride. It was a great day to see so many bikes of different types and models and so many riders actively participating in the ride”, he added.
According to the sources, about three accidents occurred due to rash driving during the ride and one of the riders also broke his leg.
