BENGALURU: On the occasion of Doctors’ Day, Agarwal group of hospitals have collaborated with the health ministry of Ontario, Canada to organise a two day summit. The motto of the summit was ‘Democracies working together.’ The two day convention was attended by leaders in the health care industry from both India and Canada. Various sessions were presided over by politicians and ministers from the Government of the state of Ontario.
“’Democracies working together’ is an extremely appropriate theme as in the current scenario, many countries have to join hands together in order to save humanity,” said Dr Sunita Agarwal, head of orthopaedics, at Agarwal hospitals.
Dr Eric Hoskins, the Health Minister of Ontario, Canada said “Terrorism has to be met by producing quality doctors, who believe in restoring humanity at a greater level.”
The hospital authorities also provided food to 400 orphans and distributed stationery to the children.
