‘Wajah tum ho’ promoted at CulAh in MCC

BENGALURU: The cast of the film ‘Wajah tum ho’, Actor Gurmeet Choudhary and Actress Sana Khan attended CulAh to promote their film on December 3, 2016.

CulAh was a 3-day fest organised by Mount Carmel College (MCC), Bangalore starting from December 1-3, 2016. There were a number of events on the third day like I’ve got the rhythm, Battle of the bands, groove-alicious, diptych and so on from various associations. The band ‘Best kept secret’ also performed on the last day. The highlight of the last day of the fest was the fashion show from the MCC fashion team.

“The theme for the fest this year was the chocolate factory and we concentrated on décor which our prop team spent 3 weeks on. The student union along with a 36 member core which has sectors like hospitality, resource and scoring, marketing etc. The Union worked on the fest for almost 3 months to put this together,” said Nydile Ranganath, President of MCC.

The fests budget was estimated to be 32 lakhs all of which was raised by the union and the sponsorship team. There were a total of 87 events and around 17 colleges participated in these events. Performances by the music band Best Kept Secret,  stand up comedian Varun Thakur, Grammy nominee Christina Novelli and DJ Hussain were the highlights  of this fest.

“Three months of dedication and left no stone untouched! Even during the rains! We pulled it off well. CulAh, as told before, is an experience,” said Namratha, General Secretary of MCC.
