Students gear up for MUN at SJC

CAMPUS: Students at St. Joseph’s College are all set to be representatives and pioneers of their delegated country’s stand, at the intra college Model United Nations (MUN) conference, on December 10, 2016 at Xavier Hall. MUN conference is an academic conference, which aims to inform participants about the ideals and mechanisms of the United Nations.

Students get the opportunity to exchange points of views, share common interests and discuss current issues of global importance. The students participating, referred to as ‘delegates’, are expected to familiarize themselves with the United Nation’s functions and its basic organizational structure.

MUN consists of four committees: ECOSOC, Crisis Committee, SC and General Assembly. The country matrix consists of thirty six countries. The event will begin at 1p.m. and conclude at 4p.m. Further details are available on
