BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah will be inaugurating the ‘Halumata Samskriti Vaibhava’ and the job fair organized by the ‘Kaginale Mahasamsthaana’ in Yadgir district.
The convention will be held on January 12, 13 and 14, 2017 in Bengaluru. Social welfare minister H. Anjaneya, higher educational minister Basavaraja Rai Reddy and education minister Tanveer Seth along with other officials will be present on the occasion.
The District President of the Gond association Mahantesh Koulagi said that the event will see folk artists coming in from different states all over India and games like kabbadi, wrestling and sheep fights would be conducted.
The convention will be inaugurated by Fagan Singh Kulasthe, minister of state for health and family welfare and the leader of the opposition in legislative council K.S. Eshwarappa will release the book ‘Halumata Budhakathugalu.’
The Gonda community consists of a huge population all across the country and the intention of this national convention is to bring the community under one roof for the common good of all.
Union Law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda and Union Minister for chemicals, Ananth Kumar will also be present on the second day of the event.
