SJC student wins state level debate

ARTUHA

CAMPUS: Veda Gowda, student of Master in Mass communication and Journalism, won the first place in state level debate competition, on Sunday in National College, Baswangudi. The topic was ‘Note ban is only way to control corruption and black money’.

The debate competition titled ‘Vanitha Smaraka Inter- College Competition’ was organised by Mr. Malleshaiah, a lawyer who has been holding the competition in memory of his daughter for the past 15 years.

People from all over Karnataka come to participate in this debate competition. The number of competitors this year were 120 and 48 colleges had participated in this completion.
