BENGALURU: Association of the aided school, college, teachers working in Karnataka state demand from the government for the implementation of pension which was introduced in  Karnataka in April 26, 2006.

The teachers who are working in aided schools and colleges are not getting their pension which is specified in this law. There are many teachers and lecturers who are retired and some have died while teaching and not got any benefits from the government.Sri Hanumanthappa, President, Association of the school college, teachers working in Karnataka state aided school, said,“ They should be given pension according to their service.Those who are selected for teaching after 2016 should be also brought under this pension scheme and also to provide pension for the unaided years”.

During the last general body meeting in the last week of February the decision will be taken on what kind of protest should be undertaken.
