NITI Aayog to make digital payments a mass movement in India

BENGALURU: The initiative to make digital payments a mass development in India through the two plans has made a progress the nation over with an ever increasing number of individuals adopting digital payments.

The launch of NITI Aayog’s two incentives on December 25, 2016 – Lucky Grahak Yojana (LGY) and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana (DVY) to promote digital payments and the public response has been quite encouraging.

The two schemes LGY for consumers and DVY for merchants to incentivize them and promote digital payments. The two schemes shall remain open until April 14, 2017. NITI Aayog has been organising DigiDhanMelas at 110 cities across India, beginning December 25, 2016. It will go on consistently until April 14, 2017. Till date, 59 DigiDhanMelas have been sorted out to take the computerised instalments development to the masses the nation over.
