BENGALURU: The Karnataka Rajya Anganavadi Karyakartheyaru Mathu Sahayakiyaru Federation, part of AITUC have decided to go on strike “Bengaluru Chalo” on March 17, 2017, demanding an increase in their salary in the budget that will be announced on March 15, 2017.

The Central Government and the State Government has not increased the salary of the Anganavadi workers and their helpers from past six years. H.K Ramachandra, President of the federation and M. Jayamma, Gen Secretary of the Federation met the CM on March 6, 2017, and submitted the memorandum regarding this matter
