CAMPUS: Ever seen Harley Quinn not able to decide who her Puddin’ was among four Jokers?

Meraki, the annual fest of the Department of Communication of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous) hosted a cosplay — the act of dressing up as a character from a film, TV or web series or a video game — on Tuesday, where Harley chose her real Puddin’, dressed as musician Marshmello.

Students of the college had a blast dressing up as different their favourite characters. The characters ranged from Miguel from the Pixar hit Coco to the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland; from Super Mario to Pikachu and even a Lord Shiva!

“When you talk about cosplay, the first thing that comes to mind is Comic Cons. Thus, it is amazing seeing something like it happening in our college. The participants have put in a lot of work and it is great fun to see them,” said a student of the college at the event.

“Events like cosplay don’t happen in college every day, and to see such a thing is extremely exciting. It is a lot of fun,” said Raunak, a BCom student.

The first prize for the cosplay was bagged by a student dressed as Erza from the anime Fairy Tail.

Gorima, a first-year postgraduate student the college, was the runner-up for her version of the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland.
